Dr. Erin Fontenot believes exceptional dentistry begins with truly knowing her patients. She is passionate about building genuine relationships while helping each individual achieve a healthy, confident, and beautiful smile.

Blending science with artistry, Dr. Fontenot focuses on comprehensive care that supports both oral health and overall wellness. She is a strong advocate for the mouth-body connection and takes time to educate her patients so they feel informed, empowered, and inspired to prioritize their health.

Dr. Fontenot graduated Magna Cum Laude from Louisiana Tech University and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 2010. After practicing in both New Orleans, Louisiana and Charlotte, North Carolina, she returned home to Acadiana in 2015, where she continues to serve her community with a personalized and elevated approach to care.

She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, Acadiana District Dental Association, and Acadiana Southern Society. Dr. Fontenot is also a sustaining member of the Junior League of Lafayette, where she has contributed over a decade of service and played a leadership role in numerous community initiatives, including serving as Co-Chair of the 2018–2019 Lafayette Kitchen Tour.

Committed to excellence, Dr. Fontenot pursues ongoing advanced education with a special focus on cosmetic dentistry. She has been a member of the Spear Study Club since 2018 and regularly attends continuing education courses to stay at the forefront of modern techniques and technology.

Outside the office, Dr. Fontenot enjoys life with her husband and their two daughters, Caroline and Charlotte. She loves cooking and entertaining, traveling, and staying active on the tennis court.
